From Marilyn Monroe to Pamela Anderson, the world's most beautiful and alluring women have graced the pages of Playboy. Now the very best images from Playboy's Chicago archive, taken by legendary photographers from Pompeo Posar to David LaChappelle, have been hand-picked as a highly exclusive limited-edition collection, offered now for the first time.

The Playboy Legacy Collection comprises 48 gallery-quality prints carefully selected for their historical, artistic, aesthetic and investment value by Playboy's art curators and the experts of International Images. "The Playboy Legacy Collection is such a unique and special project," said Hugh Hefner. "The compilation offers the most outstanding images from among the 15 million archived and is a real tribute to the visual history and impact of the magazine."

"The Playboy Legacy Collection is an incredible cross-section of the history of Playboy, hitting all of the high points as well as images people aren't so familiar with that have a real visual impact," added Playboy Photo Director Gary Cole.

Only 75 complete editions will be available worldwide. The Collection is a three-volume compilation of 48 images, bundled with the book Mutual Seduction: The Photography of Playboy.

To complete the taste of "the good life" as encouraged by Hefner and the magazine, the deluxe Gold Edition also features Playboy collectibles and two priceless invitations to the Playboy Legacy Collection Weekend in Los Angeles, including the Fantasy Becomes Reality party at the Playboy Mansion.
